Units*

4 English: 1 Grammar and Composition, and 3 courses from the following: American Literature, English Literature, World Literature, AP courses, speech 4 English: Grammar, Composition, Literature, or any English course approved for college admission.
3 Mathematics: 1 Algebra and
2 courses from the following: - Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Math Analysis or Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics and/or Probability, Mathematics of Finance, Contextual Geometry, Computer Science
3 Mathematics: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Math Analysis, Calculus, Advanced Placement Statistics, or any math course with content and/or rigor above Algebra I and approved for college admission.
3 Science: 1 Biology I and 1 course of Physical Science or Chemistry and 1 course from the following: Life, Physical, or Earth Science or Technology, including Chemistry I, Physics, Biology II, Chemistry II, Physical Science, Earth Science, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Astronomy, Applied Sciences, Principles of Technology, qualified agricultural education courses, or other science courses with content or rigor equal to or above Biology I. 3 Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or any lab, a science course with content and/or rigor equal to or above Biology approved for college admission.
3 Social Studies: 1 U.S. History, and 1/2 to 1 U.S. Government, and 1/2 Oklahoma History and 1/2 to 1 from the following: World History, Geography, Economics, Anthropology. 3 History and citizenship skills: 1 U.S. History, and 1/2 to 1 U.S. Government, and 1/2 Oklahoma History, and 1/2 to 1 from the subjects of History, Government, Geography, Economics, Civics, or non-Western culture.
no requirement 2 units of the same Foreign Language or non-English language or 2 units of Computer Technology for college admission.
no requirement 1 additional unit listed above or career and technology education courses approved for college admission.
1/2 Humanities: 2 sets of competencies (art history and music history) 2 units or sets of competencies of Fine Arts which may include, but are not limited to: Music, Art, Drama, OR 1 unit or set of competencies of Fine Arts and 1 unit of Speech.
Elective units to equal a minimum of 24 units. Elective units to equal a minimum of 23 total units.
  *Sets of competencies allowed in Fine Arts, except Speech.
Local school district requirements may exceed state graduation requirement.
